Shahrukh Khan New Movie News: Will Kajol And ‘Happy New Year’ Actor Ever Work On A New Film Together?

One of Bollywood most successful actors, Shahrukh Khan, has already signed three new films in 2014 and after releasing “Happy New Year,” will he be working on a new project next year with someone special?

There have been reports rounding that SRK and Kajol are set to star in a new movie together, directed by Rohit Shetty, but Aishwarya Rai reportedly replaced Kajol for the role as she hinted towards the possible project. There have been allegations that the actors were going to remake “Hum,” however they denied the rumors as well.

Will the two ever come together again for a new movie?

Khan and Kajol recently celebrated crossing 1000 weeks of releasing “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” at Maratha Mandir.

However, the last film that the two starred in together was “Baazigar,” where SRK vowed to never work with the actress again.

While on the sets of “Comedy Nights With Kapil,” Khan said, “I remember it was the first of January and everyone was quiet on the sets as they all were hungover following the New Year Eve celebrations. We were also waiting for the camera-man, who had got arrested the previous night for drunk and disorderly behavior and suddenly, Kajol comes in all chirpy and starts talking to everyone and creating such a buzz! She spotted me sitting quietly and loudly asked the make-up man in Marathi about why am I so quiet and do I never talk and that time, I had vowed to never work with her!”

It didn’t appear that Khan was serious about the statement as he had a good laugh with Kajol over the whole episode.

While we have yet to hear while will star opposite of Khan in Shetty’s upcoming film, the director spoke out about his newest project.

“So are per the reports, I am doing as many as nine films with Shah Rukh. I’d like to put all rumors to rest and say that only Shah Rukh has been confirmed for my next film. No one else has been roped in as of now,” said Shetty earlier in November. “The pre-production for the film has already started and it will go on floors next year.”
